RULES FOR SCHOLARSHIP
ENTRANTS
This page is to be signed and
returned with the essay composed by the applicant
1. All entries must be received by February 20, 2009.
2. Must maintain a “C” grade point average.
3. Use Standard English language in the essay.
4. In September and January $500 scholarship money will be sent to the College/University of your choice.
5. Submit two letters of recommendation. One letter each, from your school counselor, your Pastor, Youth Minister or non-family member.
6. If necessary there may be an interview scheduled with the applicant.
7. Scholarship to be awarded at the annual Fall Assembly Luncheon of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women, October 24, 2009.
8. This is a 4 year renewable Scholarship. The scholarship will be terminated if said winner leaves college/university before the completion of four years. Transcripts are to be sent to:
Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women
before payment of the second tuition installment.
